About Michelle Ross
For nearly 20 years, I've helped people break free from anxiety, panic, OCD, health anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt.
As a CBT therapist, I've worked with thousands of people who felt trapped by fear, overwhelmed by worry, or held back by the relentless voice in their head telling them they're not good enough, not safe enough, or not ready yet.
What I've learned is this: anxiety is incredibly convincing. It sounds like common sense. It sounds like caution. Sometimes it even sounds like you.
But anxiety lies.
That's why I wrote The Bully in Your Head and developed the S.E.A.T. Method—a practical framework that helps people recognize anxiety's voice, challenge it, and take action despite it.
My approach combines evidence-based psychology with real-world strategies that people can actually use in everyday life. No complicated jargon. No endless analysis. Just practical tools that help you understand what's happening in your mind and what to do next.
Alongside my clinical work, I've created courses, resources, and educational content designed to make psychological tools more accessible to people who may never walk into a therapy room.
Because I believe everyone deserves to understand how anxiety works—and how to stop letting it run their life.
When I'm not working with clients, writing, or creating new resources, you'll usually find me spending time with family, exercising, walking my dogs, planning my next adventure, or thinking about new ways to make mental health support more accessible.
If you're here because anxiety has been getting in the way of the life you want to live, you're in the right place.
I'm glad you're here.
